About Me

Hi Stampers!  Welcome to my blog.  I am so glad you have found me!  Let me introduce myself; my name is Laurie Bellard and I am a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator in the United States.  I live in Leander, Texas (an Austin suburb) and am married to my amazing husband, Joe, that is my biggest supporter of my Stampin' Up! journey.  I also have one spoiled rotten fur baby, named Lilly, that is my Stamp Club mascot.

A little bit about my Stampin' Up! journey.  I joined Stampin' Up! in June 2015, initially, to get the discount.  Additionally, I have a full-time career, several other outside commitments to church and the ladies organization through church, as well as other non-profit endeavors.  So, Stampin' Up started as a part-time endeavor; and while it still is, my priorities have shifted some and it has taken on a bigger presence in my life.  Back in early 2016, a family member offered to host my first workshop during Sale-a-Bration, which turned out to be wildly successful.  That got me hooked on teaching classes and workshops to help others learn and share in the fun with stamping.  Since then, I have been teaching a stamp club and classes in my home, and have a group of friends that love to play with ink, paper and stamps as much as I do.  We always have so much fun crafting together.  There is nothing like a group of people connecting with common interests, and with Stampin' Up! I have met lots of new people; both locally as well as globally!  Stampin' Up! allows us the opportunity to make friends all around the world....literally!

The craziness of the year that was 2020, forced me to change the way I thought about my crafting. But, thanks to technology, I learned how to craft from a distance and still connect with friends.  That is where the venture in blogging started.  I had wanted to start a blog for a while, but was not really sure how.  I tackled the beast and created my first blog!  Although I am still not as consistent as I would like, I enjoy sharing my creativity there when I am not busy prepping for in person classes.  I have dabbled a few times with Face Book Lives, Zoom classes/clubs, or YouTube Premiers. My goal is to increase those while still continuing to service my local customers that are hooked on in person classes.  I am hoping to offer a hybrid business (a set amount of online classes and videos as well as in person classes and clubs).  But one thing that won't change, whether in person or online, is the friendships that Stampin' Up! brings and the fun of sharing inky crafting inspiration with others!

I would love to have you join me in classes, or join my team.  I am looking to grow both my business and my team and would love to have others join me on my journey.  My ultimate, long-term goal, is to earn an incentive trip.  That is a lofty goal, but with persistence and the amazing products Stampin' Up offer, I WILL get there eventually.  For now, baby steps; and step one is to keep blogging and growing my social media interactions.  So, won't you join me on my journey?  Together we can have some inky fun!

Happy Stamping!
